Man Utd could sell three players to make room for new signings

Man United have three first-team players that could leave the club in the summer transfer window as they look to make room for new signings.

The Red Devils set about clearing house after Sir Jim Ratcliffe completed the purchase of a minority stake in the club through his petrochemicals company INEOS, which gave him control of football operations.

Mason Greenwood, Willy Kambwala, Donny van de Beek and Alvaro Fernandez have already departed this summer, fetching the club fees, while Omari Forson joined Monza on a free transfer. Raphael Varane also left after his contract expired.

Man Utd have made two signings so far, capturing centre-back Lenny Yoro from Lille and forward Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for a combined £88.7 million ahead of the 2024/25.
