Ten Hag admits Man United need to make more signings this summer

Erik ten Hag believes Man United will have to make more signings in the summer transfer window as next season will be the ‘survival of the fittest’.

The Red Devils suffered numerous injuries to key players across last season, affecting their performance on the pitch as they finished eighth in the Premier League.

The club have already sought to improve that situation by recruiting two members of Arsenal’s backroom team in Gary O’Driscoll as head of sports medicine and Jordan Reece as head physio.

Man United have also signed defender Lenny Yoro and attacker Joshua Zirkzee for almost £90m to improve their squad. However, Ten Hag says that additional arrivals are needed ahead of the 2024/25 campaign fi they are to compete with the best teams.
