Conor Gallagher will snub a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur with the Chelsea midfielder not interested in joining a Premier League rival.
Gallagher is nearing an exit from Chelsea after turning down the offer of a three-year contract with the Blues, with Atletico Madrid closing in on a deal to sign the England international.
Atletico have agreed a fee in the region of £33m with Chelsea for the 24-year-old, whose current contract at Stamford Bridge is set to expire next summer.
Gallagher is yet to make a decision but TBR Football are reporting that the midfielder is nearing the switch to Spain, having snubbed interest from Premier League rivals.
The Cobham graduate does not want to leave Chelsea for a Premier League rival, despite strong interest from Spurs in bringing the player across the capital.
Everton, West Ham, Newcastle and Aston Villa are among the English clubs to have previously expressed interest in signing Gallagher.
Gallagher scored seven goals in 50 appearances for Chelsea last season and captained the club on occasion in 2023-24, but is set to leave West London after turning down a contract extension.
Chelsea are expected to use the funds from his sale to sign a centre-forward, amid ongoing talks with Napoli over Victor Osimhen.
