Chelsea have completed the signing of Pedro Neto from Wolves with the winger unveiled ahead of the club’s pre-season friendly with Inter Milan.
Neto was introduced to the Stamford Bridge crowd after officially finalising his €63m transfer to the West Londoners on Sunday.
The Portugal international’s arrival continues a busy summer of recruitment for Chelsea, who have made nine signings under new head coach Enzo Maresca.
Neto has been targeted after an eye-catching spell at Wolves, with the 24-year-old recording nine assists in just 18 league starts in 2023/24. Only Kevin De Bruyne averaged more assists per 90 minutes than the winger and Chelsea will hope Neto can overcome recent hamstring issues to become a key part of their new-look side.
“I feel really grateful to have joined this club,” Neto, who has signed a seven-year contract in the capital, told the club’s official website.
“I have worked really hard in my career to be here and I’m looking forward to getting on the pitch with this shirt.”
