Man United have reportedly been given the green light to sign promising teenager Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal.
The Red Devils were one of several clubs linked with the 16-year-old over the summer when it became clear the forward would be leaving the north London outfit.
Obi-Martin turned heads last season when he scored ten goals for the Gunners under-16’s team in a 14-3 win over Liverpool. He also scored seven goals against Norwich City, five versus West Ham, and four in meetings with Crystal Palace and Fulham for the under-18s.
Man United had reportedly agreed a deal to sign the prolific youngster from Arsenal in July, but the player had to train away from Carrington while he waited for the move to be ratified.
