Lionesses squad in full as England face Germany and South Africa

England boss Sarina Wiegman has revealed the 25-woman squad that will take on Germany and South Africa later this month.

There are no major exclusions, but a few notable inclusions ahead of the friendlies. Aston Villa defender Lucy Parker has received her first call-up in a year after recovering from an ankle injury that ruled her out of most of last season.

“It has been a year since she has been in the team, she came back fit and she has started the season well. We want to see her in our environment,” Wiegman said on Parker’s return to the fold.

Arsenal defender Lotte Wubben-Moy and Chelsea forward Lauren James, who missed the Lionesses’ games against the Republic of Ireland and Sweden in July due to injury, have also been named in the squad.
