Manchester United host Leicester City in the Premier League this weekend as Ruud van Nistelrooy takes charge for the final time.
Van Nistelrooy’s four-game spell as interim manager will end after the visit of the Foxes, with Ruben Amorim to take official charge from November 11th. The fixture is a rematch of Van Nistelrooy’s first game in charge, when the Red Devils beat Leicester 5-2 in the Carabao Cup last month.
United are unbeaten in three games across all competitions under the Dutchman but have won just one of their last six in the Premier League.
Manchester United vs Leicester – Predicted lineup and team news
Manchester United team news
Amad Diallo is a doubt for the clash after picking up a knock during his match-winning performance against PAOK on Thursday. The winger scored both goals in the 2-0 win over the Greek side but will be assessed ahead of facing Leicester.
There’s been encouraging news on the training ground this week, however, with Luke Shaw and Leny Yoro back with the main group. This weekend may come too soon for the pair but the international break offers opportunity to get back up to speed. Harry Maguire (calf), Kobbie Mainoo (thigh) and Tyrell Malacia (knee) remain out.
Christian Eriksen and Mason Mount returned off the bench in the Europa League with Van Nistelrooy’s options increased ahead of Leicester’s arrival at Old Trafford.
