PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has responded to rumours linking Liverpool star Mo Salah with a transfer to the French capital.
The Egyptian winger’s future has been the source of much speculation lately following numerous comments from the 32-year-old on his contract situation at the club.
Salah, whose current deal expires at the end of the season, recently admitted he was “disappointed” he had not received a new offer. This past weekend he suggested he played against Manchester City at Anfield for the last time in the Premier League.
PSG are one of the few clubs in the world that could afford the player’s wages, but Al-Khelaifi poured cold water on the prospect of signing him as a free agent next summer.
