Crystal Palace boss rues missed opportunity as Man City drop more points

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner feels his side “could have won the game” following a 2-2 draw with Manchester City at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The hosts twice went ahead in an entertaining encounter, with Daniel Munoz’s early opener cancelled out by Erling Haaland in the first half.

Maxence Lacroix restored their lead after the interval, but Man City found another equaliser, this time through Rico Lewis, who was later sent off following a second bookable offence.

“We are pleased with the point and many parts of the performance,” Glasner told BBC Sport after the final whistle.
