Liverpool boss Slot makes ‘frustrating’ admission over Fulham draw

Liverpool manager Arne Slot admitted he was left frustrated by Saturday’s draw with Fulham but was nonetheless happy with his side’s display after going down to ten men.

The Reds came from behind twice to earn a point at Anfield after Andy Robertson was sent off for taking down Harry Wilson as he ran through on goal in the first half.

Cody Gakpo cancelled out Andreas Pereira’s early opener, before substitute Rodrigo Muniz restored their lead in the second half. Diogo Jota equalised late on after he was sprung from the bench for his first Premier League appearance since October.

“I don’t think I could’ve asked for more from my players, especially after going down to ten men,” Slot told Sky Sports. “I couldn’t have asked for more in terms of performance and results. of course, we could have had two points more.
