Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho are not in the Manchester United squad to face Manchester City in the Premier League this afternoon.
Ruben Amorim has named his squad to face their fierce rivals at the Etihad and the absence of Rashford and Garnacho is notable.
Harry Maguire returns to the side as part of Amorim’s preferred back three and will feature alongside Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez. Noussair Mazraoui, who has featured predominately in central defence under the new manager, is at wing-back with Amad Diallo pushed into the front three.
Rasmus Hojlund starts after scoring twice off the bench against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on Thursday night. There’s also a start for Mason Mount with Kobbie Mainoo named among the substitutes.
