Marcus Rashford ‘ready’ to leave Man Utd for ‘new challenge’

Marcus Rashford looks set to leave Manchester United, possibly in the January transfer window, after admitting he is “ready for a new challenge”.

Red Devils manager Ruben Amorim dropped the 27-year-old for this past weekend’s 2-1 win over Manchester City, fueling speculation over his future at Old Trafford.

The forward has been at Man Utd since he was seven and is contracted to the club until 2028, but in an interview with journalist Henry Winter he gave the strongest indication yet that he is prepared to move elsewhere.

“It’s disheartening to be left out of a derby, but it’s happened, we won the game so let’s move on,” Rashford said.
