Chelsea and Manchester City are among the clubs considering a summer move for Crystal Palace full-back Daniel Munoz.
Munoz has made a big impression since joining Palace from Genk in 2024. The 28-year-old leads the Premier League for tackles won this season, while offering consistent attacking threat. Only Manchester City’s Josko Gvardiol has recorded a higher xG among Premier League defenders this season.
Daniel Muñoz has made more tackles than any other player in the Premier League this season.

According to Colombian outlet Antena2, Chelsea and Manchester City are each monitoring his performances at Selhurst Park. Barcelona are also admirers of the right-back, who cost the Eagles just €8m in the 2024 January transfer window.
Manchester City are expected to enter the market for reinforcements at right-back after Kyle Walker’s decision to leave the Etihad. The 34-year-old joined AC Milan on loan last month after expressing interest in a new challenge. Matheus Nunes has deputised in an unfamiliar right-back role in recent fixtures.
Chelsea have Reece James and Malo Gusto as right-back options, though the former has struggled with persistent injury problems in recent seasons. The Blues have a strong working relationship with Palace, having loaned Trevoh Chalobah and Ben Chilwell to their London rivals this season.
