The final Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park was certainly not short of drama.
Everton earned a late point against Liverpool following a stunning stoppage-time equaliser from James Tarkowski. The Toffees battled brilliantly against their league-leading neighbours and merited a result on a memorable night.
Tensions spilled over at full-time following the 2-2 draw between the teams, with both sets of players involved in angry confrontation.
Curtis Jones confronted Doucoure after he appeared to gesture at Liverpool fans at full time.

Michael Oliver dished out three red cards after the final whistle, with Curtis Jones, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Liverpool manager Arne Slot all sent off.
The flashpoint came from Doucoure’s post-match celebrations. Jones took objection to the Mali midfielder’s goading of the Liverpool fans and a fracas followed. Each player had been booked during the game and were shown second yellow cards for their involvement.
Slot was also sent off for his protests. Liverpool were furious with the decision to allow Everton’s equaliser to stand, following an apparent push on Ibrahima Konate inside the penalty area.
Speaking to TNT Sports, ex-Everton captain Phil Jagielka said he believes Slot was right to feel aggrieved.
“You can see why Arne Slot was furious,” the former Everton defender said.
“There was a slight little nudge in the box and if that was my team I would be appealing. I would be getting sent off after the game too.
“Slot always talks about staying composed but it seems like he lost a bit of his composure at the end there. That’s what a derby does to you.”
