Liverpool attacker Cody Gakpo is a doubt to face PSG in the Uefa Champions League after Arne Slot confirmed he has suffered an injury setback.
The Netherlands international has struggled with an ankle problem that has restricted him to two substitute appearances in the last four matches, totalling 39 minutes on the pitch.
Gakpo travelled with the squad to Paris for the first leg of their round of 16 tie with the Ligue 1 leaders on Wednesday night, but did not take part in their final training session ahead of the game.

Slot revealed that the forward was in pain after blocking a shot during training on Monday and will need to be assessed ahead of kickoff before the head coach makes a decision.
“He was close to being ready to play again, but unfortunately on Monday he had to block a shot and felt a bit of pain again,” the Liverpool boss said in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
“We will judge how he is on Wednesday and if he can be part of the squad, but it will be a close call.”
