Christian Eriksen has given the strongest indication yet that his future lies away from Man United at the end of the season.
The midfielder has just four months left on his current contract at Old Trafford with no sign of him extending his deal beyond this summer.
Speaking to Danish media while on international duty this week, Eriksen admitted that it appears likely he will leave United once his contract expires.

“I haven’t thought about it that much,” the 33-year-old said (via Sport Witness). “It’s the same principle as last time, the contract expires in the summer, so in my head I’m prepared to find something new.
“I’m actually fine with that, whatever it is, it’s not something I’ve decided yet.”
Eriksen, who joined the Red Devils on a free transfer from Brentford in 2023, was linked with a return to Ajax last year and hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a homecoming.
“No, I’m not closing the door on anything,” the former Spurs and Inter Milan star explained.
“I’ll see what comes up and whether it’s something that fits. That was last summer. We’ll have to see where they stand this summer. Of course, it’s also about the interest from the other side and not just from the player.”
