Federico Chiesa’s father, Enrico, has said the winger is happy at Liverpool despite a difficult first season with the club.
Chiesa signed for Liverpool from Juventus for a fee in the region of £10m last summer, becoming the first permanent signing of Arne Slot’s reign. However, the Italian has struggled for regular first-team football this season.

Chiesa has started just three games across all competitions and has totalled only 25 minutes of action in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old scored 10 goals in 37 games for Juventus last season but the player’s father has insisted there are no regrets over his move to Anfield.
Chiesa senior said the winger is ‘very happy’ at Liverpool and keen to help the Reds to Premier League success this season.
He came off the bench to score a consolation goal in the Carabao Cup final defeat to Newcastle last weekend and is hoping to have an impact across the Premier League run-in. Liverpool are 12 points ahead of nearest challengers Arsenal with nine games of the campaign to go.
“I can guarantee that Federico’s very happy at Liverpool,” Chiesa’s father, Enrirco, told Tuttosport.
“We hope he can win the Premier League, we have no regrets about Juventus. He’s so happy at Liverpool.”
