Liverpool will turn down permanent approaches for Fabio Carvalho this summer, but the midfielder will be made available for loan.
Carvalho has struggled for regular first-team football since signing for Liverpool from Fulham, with the 20-year-old restricted to just eight minutes of Premier League football following the turn of the new year.
Carvalho featured in each of Liverpool’s opening seven games of the Premier League campaign and scored goals against Bournemouth and Newcastle in a bright start at Anfield, but is now keen to secure more regular minutes after a frustrating second half of the campaign.
Liverpool have turned down an offer of around £10m from RB Leipzig and The Athletic are reporting that the Reds will only consider loan approaches for Carvalho.
A number of Premier League clubs are believed to be interested in the midfielder, who has represented both England and Portugal at youth level.
A return to Fulham is a potential option, with Carvalho having starred during the club’s promotion winning season in 2021/22 to be named in the Championship Team of the Season.
