AC Milan and Inter Milan are set to compete for the signing of Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun, with the forward a target for clubs across Europe after an impressive season on loan at Reims.
Balogun is on the radar of several sides after a prolific spell on loan at Reims that has seen the forward score 22 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions.
The 21-year-old will return to Arsenal when his loan deal in France expires, but there is an expectation that Balogun will push for an exit as the forward looks to continue playing regular first-team football.
The Daily Mail are reporting that both Milan clubs are considering an approach for Balogun, who recently pledged his international allegiance to the United States after representing England at u21 level.
Balogun appears likely to move on this summer given the presence of Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah at Arsenal, while the Gunners have been linked with signing another centre-forward.
The academy product will not be short of suitors and Roma are also said to be interested following the news that Tammy Abraham will miss the start of next season with an ACL injury.
