Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for Thomas Partey this summer as the club look to overhaul their midfield options.
Mikel Arteta has made midfield the focus for the summer transfer window and the Gunners are chasing a deal for West Ham captain Declan Rice. The north Londoners saw an opening offer turned down for Rice last week, but are expected to return with an improved bid.
Arsenal have also made an approach for Chelsea’s Kai Havertz and are understood to be keen on Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Partey could be a casualty of the club’s rebuild in midfield.
The Ghana international is ‘attracting enquiries’ and Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for the 30-year-old, whose position could come under threat with the arrival of reinforcements.
A significant offer for Partey could help fund Arsenal’s bid to rebuild their midfield as the club prepare to return to the Champions League next season.
Partey has made 99 appearances in all competitions since signing for Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in a £45m deal in 2020.
Granit Xhaka is also expected to move on with the Switzerland international having held talks over a move to Bayer Leverkusen.
