Bayern Munich are considering turning to other transfer targets if Tottenham do not accept their latest offer for Harry Kane.
Bayern have seen two bids rejected for the England captain as the club look to sign a centre-forward and have since returned with an improved offer.
According to the Telegraph, Bayern’s latest bid is expected to be worth It is around €100 million (£86.1million), with add-ons, for the 30-year-old who has entered the final 12 months of his contract in north London.
Bayern have set a deadline of midnight Friday for Spurs to accept their offer, or will turn to alternatives. Each of the three parties are keen to find a resolution as soon as possible, with Bayern’s season set to begin with a German Supercup clash against RB Leipzig next Saturday.
The Bundesliga champions have sanctioned the sale of former Liverpool forward Sadio Mane to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr for £24m this week in a bid to raise further funds and are hopeful their latest offer will persuade Spurs to sell.
Kane is understood to be open to the move, despite closing in on Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal record. Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel is said to have persuaded Kane that he can win the Champions League with the Munich side and still return to England later in his career to break Shearer’s landmark.
He is 48 goals from the record after a 30-goal Premier League campaign in 2022/23.
