PSG remain keen on Randal Kolo Muani deal

PSG remain keen on a deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani, despite the arrival of Goncalo Ramos from Benfica.

The Ligue 1 champions are overhauling their squad after a disappointing European campaign last season and have targeted a deal for Kolo Muani to improve their forward line.

Kylian Mbappe’s uncertain future at Paris Saint-Germain has led to a focus on forward targets and it is understood the club remain keen on a deal for Kolo Muani despite signing Goncalo Ramos on loan from Benfica.

Kolo Muani starred during a breakthrough season at Frankfurt having signed for the German side on a free transfer from Nantes last summer.

The 24-year-old led the Bundesliga for goal involvements and scored 23 goals in all competitions, form which has seen the forward earn a regular role with the France national side.

Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have been linked, but Fabrizio Romano is reporting that PSG are in talks over a deal. A deal is not described as ‘imminent’, but negotiations are ongoing as PSG look to bring in the Frenchman.

PSG have been active in the transfer market this summer and have completed the big-money signings of Manuel Ugarte and Lucas Hernandez, alongside free transfer additions of Marco Asensio and Milan Skriniar. The Parisians are also on the verge of completing the €50m signing of Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona.
