Hakim Ziyech is set to leave Chelsea after the club reached an agreement with Galatasaray over the transfer of the winger.
Ziyech is keen to leave Chelsea after a frustrating period in west London with the Moroccan having made just six starts in the Premier League last season.
The 30-year-old has also seen two transfers collapse in recent months, with a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain having fallen through in January, before a deal with Al-Nassr also failed to materialise despite the Saudi Pro League side reaching an agreement with Chelsea.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Ziyech is now nearing a long-awaited exit from Stamford Bridge, after Chelsea reached an agreement in principle with Galatasaray.
The deal is subject to ‘further details and medical tests’ with Chelsea ‘careful’ after the collapse of past agreements.
Ziyech has made 107 appearances for Chelsea since joining the club from Ajax in 2023, but has struggled to produce his best form on a consistent basis and was not assigned a squad number for the new season.
The Morocco international has been targeted as a replacement for Nicolo Zaniolo, who is closing in on a move to Aston Villa. Ziyech could link up with Wilfried Zaha in Istanbul next season, after the former Crystal Palace forward signed for the Turkish side on a free transfer earlier this summer.
