Manchester United are considering moves for Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella, Tottenham’s Sergio Reguilon and Barcelona’s Marcos Alonso as the club look to sign a left-back before the deadline.
Injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia have left the Red Devils short of depth and the club are currently assessing potential additions ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.
United are understood to have enquired about Cucurella’s availability at Chelsea, who are open to allowing the Spaniard to leave on loan should their conditions be met.
Chelsea will demand that Cucurella’s salary is covered in full and a substantial loan fee, for a player signed from Brighton for £63m just last summer.
The Telegraph are reporting that Reguilon and Alonso are also of interest to United. Reguilon spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid from Spurs and is free to leave the north Londoners this summer, with both Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies ahead of him in Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
United are additionally considering former Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso, who made just 11 league starts after leaving the Premier League for Barcelona last summer.
Ten Hag’s side are also closing in on a deal to sign goalkeeper Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce as cover for Andre Onana, with Dean Henderson nearing a £20m move to Crystal Palace.
