Manchester United and Chelsea are among the clubs eyeing a move to sign Flamengo teenager Lorran.
Lorran made history earlier this year after becoming the youngest goalscorer in Flamengo’s history, after the attacking midfielder netted in a 1-1 draw at Bangu in January, aged just 16 years, six months and 20 days.
His emergence has alerted Europe’s elite clubs and Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Manchester United and Chelsea are part of a group of clubs interested in a potential deal for Lorran, who has a release clause worth £43m in his contract with the Brazilian side.
Chelsea have signed several starlets from Brazil in recent transfer windows with the west Londoners agreeing deals to bring Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington and Angelo to Stamford Bridge, with Lorran the latest to pique the interest of owner Todd Boehly.
The 17-year-old appears to be readying himself for an inevitable move to European football after signing with the Roc Nation Sports Brazil agency, who also represent Brazil internationals including Vinicius Junior and Gabriel Martinelli.
Fellow prospect Endrick, who has agreed to move from Palmeiras to Real Madrid in 2024, is also with Roc Nation.
