Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are set to battle it out to sign Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi this summer.
Guehi has become a regular in Gareth Southgate’s England squad since swapping Chelsea for Crystal Palace in 2021, with the 23-year-old having won seven senior caps since his international debut last year.
Guehi’s form for the Eagles is understood to have attracted some of the Premier League’s top teams, with Goal reporting that Arsenal are ‘huge admirers’ of the defender.
However, the Gunners could face strong competition from both Manchester clubs for Guehi, who is valued in excess of £50m at Selhurst Park.
Guehi has impressed in partnership with Joachim Andersen at the Eagles and ranks among the Premier League’s leading players for clearances (9th) and successful take-on percentage (6th) across the opening weeks of the 2023/24 campaign.
Palace have insisted it will take a record fee to prise Guehi from South London, a figure that would eclipse the £50m that took Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United in 2019.
Guehi came through the academy system at Chelsea, but failed to make a Premier League appearance for the west Londoners before his £18m move across the capital.
