Chelsea will reject all loan approaches for Noni Madueke during the January transfer window.
Madueke has featured for just 121 minutes in the Premier League this season after struggling to command a regular role at Chelsea since his arrival from PSV Eindhoven in January.
The 21-year-old’s situation has led to speculation surrounding a loan exit next month, but Chelsea will turn down approaches to sign the winger on a temporary deal.
Madueke has failed to break into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans this season, with Mykhailo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer all preferred as wide options.
The England u-21 international has suffered several fitness issues this season, though has returned to training ahead of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup quarter-final with Newcastle.
A number of clubs will be keeping a close eye on Madueke, who cost £29m when arriving from PSV, but The Athletic are reporting that Chelsea have no intention of allowing any first-team players to leave on loan in the winter window.
Chelsea already have the maximum number of seven players on international loans, with Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech, Kepa Arrizabalaga, David Datro Fofana, Angelo Gabriel, Diego Moreira, and Gabriel Slonina all on season-long loan deals at clubs in Europe.
