Liverpool have reportedly ended their interest in three players who were previously on their list of transfer targets, including Andre Trindade.
The Reds are no longer “actively pursuing” Fluminense midfielder, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The 22-year-old had attracted interest from the Merseyside outfit in the summer as Jurgen Klopp went about reconstructing his midfield.

The Brazilian was a key player for Fluminense as they claimed the Copa Libertadores for the first time and reached the final of the Fifa Club World Cup.
The report is a huge boost for Fulham and Manchester United, who have also been linked with Andre. The player expressed his desire to one day play in England.
“I watch the Premier League and it’s a big dream to play there,” he said in December. “I’m focused on finishing the season with Fluminense and realising our own dream of winning the Club World Cup. But my dream is clear, to be a Premier League player.”

Liverpool are also said to have removed Joao Palhinha and Piero Hincapie from their list of transfer targets.
The club had been heavily linked to Palhinha in the summer until the Fulham midfielder agreed to move to Bayern Munich on deadline day in the summer. However, time ran out to complete the deal and the Portugal international signed a contract extension after the window closed.
The Cottagers reportedly want to sign Andre as a replacement for Palhinha, who is still on Bayern’s radar. The club’s CEO, Alistair Mackintosh, flew to Brazil in December for talks on a potential deal.
Bayer Leverkusen defender Hincapie was another summer target who remained at his club, despite the player’s agent revealing that talks about a transfer had taken place.
