He maintains incredible finals record after Nations (Varane)
Raphael Varene extended his record of having never lost a competitive European final in his career after France’s 2-1 win over Spain in the UEFA Nations League final.
That was the fifth European final the defender has appeared in (including club competitions) and he’s been victorious in all 5 so far.
Varane won 4 Champions League finals with Real Madrid during his stint with the club.
The Frenchman did, however, suffer an injury during the game which could potentially keep him out of action for the next few weeks.
