Tottenham have received a huge boost with Richarlison and Pedro Porro fit and available for this weekend’s North London derby with Arsenal.
Spurs take on their fierce rivals in a must-win clash for both teams, as Ange Postecoglou’s side look to reduce the gap on Aston Villa in the race to finish inside the Premier League’s top four.
Postecoglou’s side have not played for two weeks due to the schedule around the FA Cup semi-finals and the break has been positive in bringing players back into the fold, with Richarlison and Porro available.
The former has scored 10 goals in just 17 league starts during an encouraging second season with the club, while Porro’s seven Premier League assists trail only Son Heung-Min among his teammates.
Postecoglou discussed the blow of losing Destiny Udogie for the remainder of the campaign but revealed the positive news on the aforementioned duo.
“Yeah I guess the first one more significant there was losing Destiny (Udogie) in this period,” said Postecoglou when speaking to SPURSPLAY.
“Bit disappointing for him and for us as he has been such an important player for us. So yeah unfortunately picking up an injury means the end of his season.
“Skippy’s (Oliver Skipp) got a minor knock as well and he’ll miss the weekend, so those are the two who are kind of out from last game. Pedro and Richy trained well this week and are both available.”
