AC Milan want to sign a second forward after the impending arrival of Alvaro Morata and will battle Premier League clubs to sign Niclas Füllkrug and Tammy Abraham.
Milan have reached an agreement to sign Morata from Atletico Madrid with Spain’s Euro 2024-winning captain having confirmed he is set for the San Siro.
The Italian outfit want to sign an additional number nine after the departure of Olivier Giroud to MLS, however, and have placed Füllkrug and Abraham on their list of targets according to Sky Germany.
Füllkrug’s future at Borussia Dortmund is uncertain despite an impressive debut campaign at the club, following the arrival of Serhou Guirassy from Stuttgart. The 31-year-old, who scored twice for Germany at Euro 2024, scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in the Bundesliga last season and has also been linked with West Ham.
Abraham, meanwhile, is another option under consideration by Milan. The England international scored 27 goals in all competitions during a superb first season at AS Roma in 2021-22 as the club won the Europa Conference League, but has struggled for form and fitness in the following two campaigns.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a return to the Premier League with West Ham, Aston Villa and Spurs among those credited with interest. Roma are believed to value the former Chelsea forward at around £25m.
