Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Juventus centre-back Dean Huijsen, with the teenager set to leave the club this summer.
The 18-year-old impressed during a loan spell at AS Roma in 2023-24 and has attracted interest from several sides across Europe.
Juventus are willing to allow the Dutch-born Spanish youth international to leave Turin despite his high potential, as the Bianconeri press ahead with plans to sign Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice.
Liverpool have been linked as Arne Slot looks to sign a left-sided central defender, while Bournemouth and Stuttgart have each submitted offers for the players.
However, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has said Huijsen will take a patient approach to deciding his next club with the defender set to ‘take time to evaluate any new, more prestigious solutions’.
Huijsen was born in the Netherlands before relocating to Spain as a child and joined the Juventus academy from Malaga in 2021. After representing the Dutch at youth level, he made his Spain u-21 debut in March.
The 6ft 5in defender has impressed with his confidence in possession and made 14 appearances for Roma in all competitions last season, scoring two goals.
