A Nigerian church leader has urged Napoli striker Victor Osimhen against a transfer to Chelsea this summer.
Osimhen is pushing to leave Napoli this summer and has held talks with Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea over potential transfers in the current window.
Chelsea are understood to have held ‘positive talks’ with Napoli over a deal this week, in a transfer that could see Romelu Lukaku head to the Italian side in part-exchange.
Osimhen has been vocal in his desire to move to the Premier League in the past and has cited former Chelsea favourite Didier Drogba as a role model.
However, not everyone is convince that Stamford Bridge is the right step for Nigeria’s star striker with a church leader in the nation warning Osimhen against a move to West London.
In the clip, he warns Osimhen ‘will not shine’ at Chelsea and says the transfer will ‘kill the career’ of the Super Eagles star.
