When The Football Faithful heard that Jack Downer (AKA ‘Street Panna’) had released Street to Stadium – a new football training app – we had to try it out for ourselves.
There aren’t many good quality training apps out there, so we were keen to take a detailed look.
We used the app and trained with it for two weeks to bring you the low down.
What’s included?
Street to Stadium is designed to be an online training academy accessible from your phone, so naturally there’s multiple features to get to grips with.
You can take training courses designed by Jack Downer and his network of professional coaches, which we were really impressed with. The coaching on these courses is backed by player development knowledge and experience from top clubs, and it really shows. Playback was smooth and the app interface is easy to use.
As well as the courses, there’s a number of interactive features on offer, all included for the £9.99/month subscription. Players can post their own training videos in the ‘Show Your Skills’ area, and they will be commented on by either Jack or one of the other professional coaches inside the app. We found this feature super useful and pretty unique – we’ve not seen it anywhere else.

Players can also join live Q&A calls with the coaches inside the app, which happen every 2 weeks. We found the knowledge on offer during these calls was very high quality. Anyone who has tried to get 1-on-1 advice from pro coaches knows they charge a lot of money, so to have this feature included in the £9.99/month is pretty amazing.
This is where Street to Stadium starts to feel like an online academy rather than just a collection of training courses. Players can learn skills but also get constant feedback to improve fast, rather than wondering whether or not they’re training correctly.
There’s other features available inside like monthly challenges (which are simpler and more ‘fun’ than the elite training courses) and a chat feature where players can meet each other and hang out.
Overall, the platform feels like it’s stacked with stuff to use and benefit from – you get a lot for your £9.99/month here.
Do the courses actually help you get better?
There are various courses to choose from inside Street to Stadium. Some of them are included in the £9.99/month price, and some of them need to be bought separately. This is both a negative (not everything is included in the £9.99/month) and a positive (you won’t get charged for stuff you don’t want or won’t use).
We tried all of the courses, and they varied in length and depth depending on the skills on offer. Overall, we found that every course had a really high production quality and taught legit skills. The courses are nicely organised into different areas so you can choose what you want to train on any day.
Some courses will teach you the skills you will actually need if you want to become an elite footballer, like 1v1 skills, functional skills, footwork & dexterity… and others feel like they’re more made for fun (like 20 Days to 100 Kick Ups). Don’t expect to take the kick ups course and suddenly become an elite player.
So yes, we’d say the courses will definitely help you improve if you put effort into the app. But this isn’t an overnight solution and won’t give you a quick fix. Some courses are over an hour long so they will require focus in order to get better. But that’s true of any skill!
Conclusion
Overall, we were very impressed by Street to Stadium and what you get for £9.99/month.
Players who actually want to improve (not just talk about it) will find loads to do here, and will find multiple different features they can use to get better. We’d say this app is designed for serious players who already have some playing experience, not complete beginners.
But if you aren’t too worried about working with elite coaches and would rather learn more basic skills, you are probably better off finding some free content on Youtube. It all depends on what you want and what level you want to reach!
