Samu Omorodion was left deeply upset by the transfer saga that saw his move to Chelsea fall apart in the summer.
The Blues were pursuing the Spanish striker, but Atletico Madrid initially insisted he was not for sale. But the club changed their mind when Conor Gallagher was offered in return.
Omorodion was all set to move to Stamford Bridge after a deal was agreed between the two clubs. The player even underwent a medical, but the transfer collapsed for reasons that remain a mystery.
The 20-year-old eventually signed for FC Porto, where he has scored seven goals in seven games. Having also helped Spain win goal at the Olympic Games in Paris, the forward has enjoyed the past couple of months.
