Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is said to be ‘fed up’ with Gareth Bale and wants the Welshman out of the club after another injury-hit start to the season.
The 32-year-old returned to the Bernabeu in the summer after a season-long loan at Tottenham, netting an impressive tally of 16 goals in all competitions during his time back in north London, despite largely being restricted to the substitutes’ bench.
The former Southampton man had sought that temporary switch in order to escape the toxicity brewing in the Spanish capital, although despite that brief spell away from the La Liga side the situation appears not to have changed, with the winger once again facing criticism in Madrid.
As per Catalan outlet, El Nacional, manager Carlo Ancelotti is ‘fed up’ with Bale and wants the club to cut ties with the player, despite having previously been keen to bring him back into the fold.
The veteran Italian – who returned to Los Blancos in the summer after an 18-month stint in the Premier League with Everton – had been in charge when the Wales international was initially signed back in 2013, guiding the club to a Champions League title at the end of that season with Bale netting in the showpiece.
Perhaps hoping that their former connection could rejuvenate the player, Ancelotti brought Bale back into the first-team at the start of the season and tipped him for a key role, although he has seemingly now lost patience with the former Spurs man.
Bale has been out for the last two months with a hamstring injury, although has now irked his employers in Spain once again after opting to link up with the Welsh national team for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers with Belarus and Belgium, despite not being fully fit.

By his own admission, the forward is not yet fully recovered but has sought to join Robert Page’s squad regardless, as he seeks to help Wales secure qualification for next year’s tournament in Qatar and reach his 100th cap.
With his contract set to expire in the summer, a departure from Madrid is inevitable at the end of the season, although it remains to be seen if he will secure an earlier exit, ahead of the January transfer window.
Tottenham have been linked with an interest in re-signing the Welshman for a third stint at the club in recent days.
