Paris Saint-Germain are not interested in re-signing Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku, despite speculation surrounding a potential move.
Nkunku is understood to be unsettled at Chelsea after struggling for regular first-team football. The France international has started just three times in the Premier League, with the majority of his football in cup competitions. He has impressed amid limited involvement, however, scoring 12 times from his 12 starts.

PSG have been linked with a move to re-sign their former academy graduate, as the French champions look to reinforce their forward line. Randal Kolo Muani is set to leave the Parc des Princes on loan this month and Nkunku has been named as a potential replacement. The 27-year-old came through the ranks at PSG and made 78 senior appearances before leaving for RB Leipzig in 2019.
Fabrizio Romano has revealed there have been no talks between PSG and Chelsea regarding Nkunku. The Ligue 1 side are looking for a different profile of player and hold no interest in signing the forward at this stage. However, Nkunku could leave Chelsea should he request a move in search of more minutes. Several top clubs are monitoring his situation. Enzo Maresca recently admitted he will not keep players who are unhappy at Stamford Bridge.
“We like Christo and we want him here and there will always be players that are not happy,” Maresca said last month.
“I am not sure if that will be Christo’s case. We want to keep him here because we are happy with him.
“We aren’t thinking about players who want to leave. We are not thinking that this or that player has to leave. We are just thinking about how to win games. If they knock on the door and they want to leave, I’m not going to say: ‘No, no, you have to stay here, 100%’.
“If they want to leave, the best thing for everyone is that the players who aren’t happy are going to leave.”
