Reece James admits missed chances came back to bite Chelsea ‘in the arse’

Reece James admitted Chelsea were left to rue their missed chances after the full-back snatched a late draw against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

The Blues bombarded the visitors in the opening half, taking 13 shots to their opponent’s one, but Cole Palmer was the only one to find the back of the net.

Bournemouth punished their profligacy after the break; Justin Kluivert equalised from the penalty spot before Antoine Semenyo put them ahead.

The Cherries were denied a famous away win however, as James ensured both sides shared a point each with his first Premier League goal in over two years, driving the ball into the bottom corner from a direct free kick.
