Al Hilal manager Jorge Jesus has admitted he would like to bring Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah to Saudi Arabia this summer.
Salah is a long-standing transfer target for Saudi Arabian sides, with a desire to bring the Egyptian to the big-spending league.
The 32-year-old’s status as one of the world’s finest players and the most high-profile Arab footballer in the world have made him a top target for the Saudi Pro League.
Salah is the Premier League’s leading scorer this season with 22 goals but his future at Liverpool remains up in the air.

The winger’s current contract expires at the end of the season and there has been no agreement reached on an extension. He is free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign sides and is set to be subject of lucrative bids from the Saudi Pro League.
Al Hilal are seeking a big name to replace Neymar, who was allowed to leave for Santos last month after a disastrous time with the club.
In an interview with Canal11, Al Hilal head coach Jesus was asked whether Salah could make the transfer to the Saudi champions this summer.
“I’d like it, but if he wants it… I don’t know,” Jesus said
“Salah is a great player, he has a way of playing that would fit our team, but I don’t know any more.”
In January, Saudi sports minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal said he would love to bring Salah to the league.
“Definitely, because if he ticks all the right boxes, even for us, we’d love to have him,” he said to Piers Morgan uncensored.
“We feel like we are one with the Egyptians, from our culture and our history and so on.
“So to have Mo Salah or other players that are good role models would be a pleasure and a privilege to have in the Saudi League. Will it happen or not? That’s up to the clubs to decide and to see what negotiations go on.”
