Europa Conference League Play-Off Draw: Leicester vs Randers

The draw for the Europa Conference League’s play-off round have been made with the Premier League sides involved having learned their opponents for the next round.

The inaugural Europa Conference League will follow a similar format to this season’s Europa League, with the third-place teams from the Europa League’s group stages – including Leicester and Celtic – dropping down to the newly-formed competition.

There will be a play-off round involving 16 clubs, before the official round of 16 in which the winners of the play-off ties progress to meet the Europa Conference League’s group stage winners.

Tottenham remain in the competition at present, but need to beat Rennes in their rescheduled fixture to secure progress to the knockout rounds.

Leicester will face Randers of Denmark in the play-off round, whilst Celtic will also face Scandinavian opposition after being drawn to meet Bodø/Glimt.

Should Spurs progress, Antonio Conte’s team will face Rapid Vienna.
