Antonio Rudiger is ‘in no rush’ to decide his future with Ralf Rangnick named as an admirer of the Chelsea defender.
Rudiger is out of contract at the end of the season and has so far failed to agree terms on a new deal at Chelsea, with a host of leading clubs monitoring his situation ahead of a potential free transfer move.
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are all understood to have held negotiations with the representatives of the Germany international and Sky Sports are reporting that Premier League interest could emerge as he approaches the end of his deal.
They say that Manchester United interim manager Rangnick is an admirer of the 28-year-old and Rudiger is prepared to take his time as he weighs up perhaps the last major contract of his career.
Rudiger has not ruled out signing a new contract with Chelsea but has demanded a deal that would make him the highest-paid defender in the Premier League – a figure the west Londoners have so far refused to match.
He has started all but one of Chelsea’s games in the Premier League this season and has been an integral figure under Thomas Tuchel, whilst the centre-back has won the FA Cup, Europa League and Champions League since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Roma in 2017.
Chelsea also have Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen out of contract this summer as things stand, though Thiago Silva recently signed an extension to his deal.
