Four Premier League clubs are keen on signing Dele Alli from Tottenham before the transfer window’s deadline next week.
Brighton, Burnley and Everton are all interested in the midfielder, though it is Newcastle who are understood to be ‘leading the chase’ to sign the 25-year-old on loan.
Alli is free to leave the North Londoners after falling out of favour at Spurs, with Antonio Conte hopeful of reshaping his squad with several incomings and exits before Monday’s deadline.
The Mail are reporting that the four clubs could all make a move for Alli in the coming days, but a move to Germany appears unlikely despite reported interest from Borussia Dortmund.
Alli has started just two league fixtures since the arrival of Conte as manager in November and is in need of a new challenge after a sharp fall from grace in recent seasons, with the midfielder having fallen out of favour for club and country.
He has not featured for England since the Nations League finals in 2019 and failed to score a single Premier League goal last season.
Spurs are hopeful over new additions before the winter window shuts next week and have targeted moves for a midfielder and Porto winger Luis Diaz.
