Pogba ‘increasingly likely’ to leave Man Utd and in talks with Real Madrid and Juventus

Paul Pogba’s representatives are in talks with Real Madrid and Juventus as the Manchester United midfielder moves closer to a summer exit.

Pogba is out of contract at the end of the season and ‘increasingly likely’ to leave the Red Devils on a free transfer, with the France international having failed to agree terms on a new deal at Old Trafford.

The 29-year-old is said to be ‘hurt’ after he was jeered by sections of the home crowd during United’s 3-2 win over Norwich last weekend and cupped his ear in response to the disgruntled supporters.

Sky Sports are reporting that Pogba is now in talks with several clubs, including Real Madrid and former side Juventus, over a summer deal as he edges closer to an Old Trafford exit.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a move to bring the World Cup winner back to France.

The midfielder was substituted after picking up a calf injury during the 4-0 loss at Liverpool on Tuesday and has struggled for form and fitness this season after a bright start to the campaign.

His six seasons with the Red Devils have proven a disappointment as he has failed to find consistency in his performances, whilst the club will end the current campaign without silverware for a fifth straight season.

Pogba first signed for Manchester United from Le Havre as a teenager, before departing for Juventus on a free transfer in search of regular first-team football in 2012.

He returned in an £89m world record deal in 2016, but has not won a major trophy since a Europa League and League Cup double during his first season at the club in 2016/17.
