Newcastle are willing to offer Karl Darlow to Manchester United as part of a swap deal to sign Dean Henderson.
Eddie Howe is keen on a deal to sign Henderson this summer as he seeks a new number one for next season, with the Red Devils goalkeeper keen on an exit after making just three appearances across all competitions in 2021/22.
The 25-year-old wants to secure regular first-team football as he looks to regain his place in the England squad and Newcastle are proposing a deal that will see Darlow head to Old Trafford in part-exchange.
The Sun are reporting that the Magpies are willing to include the 31-year-old in negotiations, with United in need of experienced cover for David de Gea following the retirement of Lee Grant.
Henderson is understood to only be interested in a loan move to St James’ Park, with the goalkeeper still holding a belief that he will one day succeed De Gea and become number one at Manchester United.
He made 26 appearances in 2020/21 after returning from an impressive loan spell at Sheffield United, but has since struggled to oust the Spaniard this season.
