Sadio Mane is set to sign for Bayern Munich after the club agreed terms with Liverpool on a deal for the forward.
Liverpool had turned down two previous offers from the Bundesliga champions for Mane, who will enter the final 12 months of his contract this summer and has expressed a desire to leave Anfield.
Bayern have made Mane their leading transfer target this summer, though had seen offers of £25m and £23.5m with a further £6.5m in unrealistic add-ons rejected.
Sky Sports reported earlier on Friday that Bayern had accepted the club would need to meet Liverpool’s asking price in the region of £42.5m and Fabrizio Romano has revealed that an agreement between the clubs has been reached.
Productive talks between the clubs were held on Friday and Mane has also agreed personal terms on a three-year deal at the Allianz Arena.

Mane will leave with the Reds’ ‘blessing’, having been a key figure in the club’s successes under Jurgen Klopp.
He arrived from Southampton in a £34m deal in 2016 and has since scored 120 goals in 269 appearances for the Merseysiders, winning the Premier League and Champions League among his six major honours.
Mane scored 23 goals in all competitions for Liverpool last season and was named in the PFA Team of the Year for a fourth time.
Liverpool have already secured a replacement for the 30-year-old after completing a deal for Benfica forward Darwin Nunez for an initial fee of £64m.
