Levi Colwill is at the centre of a transfer tussle with three Premier League clubs interested in signing the Chelsea defender.
Colwill made a major impression during a season-long loan spell at Huddersfield Town last season, impressing as the Terriers reached the Championship play-off final.
The 19-year-old – who made his England u21 debut in March – is now on the radar of Premier League rivals with a trio of clubs interested in a potential loan deal.
According to the Daily Mail, Leicester, Southampton and Everton are all considering an approach for Colwill and could provide the teenager with regular football at Premier League level next season.
Leicester were allegedly interested in taking over the defender’s loan deal in January and remain keen, but need to offload Jannick Vestergaard following a difficult debut season for the Denmark international last term.
Southampton – who signed Armando Broja on loan from the west Londoners last season – are also interested, whilst former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is weighing up a move.
Colwill operated as a left-side centre-back for Huddersfield last season and made 32 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice.
