Memphis Depay and Barcelona are in talks about an agreement that will see the forward leave on a free transfer this summer.
Depay has been deemed surplus to requirements at Barcelona following the arrivals of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha this summer, with a number of clubs having considered an approach.
However, no side has matched the Catalans’ €20m asking price for the Netherlands international and the two parties are now in discussions over a free transfer exit.
Barcelona signed Depay on a free transfer from Lyon last summer and the 28-year-old finished as the club’s leading scorer with 13 goals in all competitions last season.

However, the club’s summer recruitment and need to lower the wage bill is set to see the Dutchman leave on a free transfer.
Depay is willing to leave Barcelona should an offer from a top club arrive, with a number of Premier League clubs having been credited with interest in making a move for the former Manchester United forward.
Arsenal, Tottenham, Everton, Newcastle and West Ham have all been tentatively linked with a move for Depay, who has scored 42 goals in 80 appearances for the Netherlands at international level.
Juventus are believed to be leading the chase however, as the Italian side look to bring in attacking reinforcements following the exits of Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata.
