The draw has been made for the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup, and there is still plenty of lower-league interest in the competition.
It’s been an entertaining weekend of fourth-round fixtures which have left plenty to still be decided, with six of the 15 ties that have played so far set to be replayed.
Manchester City edged Arsenal in the headline fixture on Friday night, while Manchester United and Spurs both overcame Championship opposition in the form of Reading and Preston to proceed.
For the second time in two weeks, Brighton got the better of Liverpool to book their place in the last 16, while Leeds, Leicester and Southampton all avoided potential banana skins to beat their respective lower-league opposition and put their name in the draw for the fifth round.
Fulham were held by an in-form Sunderland, while the last 16 is guaranteed to have at least seven representatives from outside the Premier League.
Wrexham are still flying the flag for the non-league, though they will need to replay their tie against Sheffield United as the Welsh club were cruelly denied a famous win by a 95th minute John Egan equaliser at the Racecourse Ground.
In the draw, the Premier League’s biggest clubs all avoided each other as Man City face a trip to take on Bristol City, Manchester United will host the winners of Derby or West Ham, while Spurs will take on the victors of Wrexham’s replay with against Sheffield United.
