Napoli will reportedly demand a fee in excess of €100m from clubs interested in signing Victor Osimhen this summer.
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a summer move for the Nigeria international, whose goals have fired Napoli to the top of Serie A this season.
Osimhen is the leading scorer in Italy with 14 league goals for the campaign, with Luciano Spalletti’s side 13 points clear at the top of the division and closing in on a first Scudetto since 1990.
Napoli also impressed during the Champions League’s group stage and will take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the last 16 later this month.
ESPN are reporting that Manchester United have placed Osimhen on their list of potential signings at centre-forward, on a shortlist that also contains Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Red Bull Salzburg’s Benjamin Sesko and Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic.
PSG are also interested in Osimhen, who was named as Serie A’s Best Young Player in 2021/22. Napoli are reluctant to lose the forward however, and will demand a fee in excess of €100m from interested clubs.
The 23-year-old has two years remaining on his current contract at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, having joined the club from Lille in 2020. He has since scored 42 goals in 83 appearances across all competitions.
