Arsenal and Newcastle are tracking Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby ahead of a potential summer move, but could face competition from Paris Saint-Germain.
Diaby has enjoyed another fine season in the Bundesliga this season with the 23-year-old’s performances having not gone unnoticed at clubs across the continent.
The France international has scored eight league goals for Leverkusen and the German side are braced for offers this summer.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Arsenal have monitored Diaby’s development across the past two seasons and are considering an approach this summer, though the Gunners could face strong competition from both Newcastle and PSG.
Diaby began his career at PSG before a move to Leverkusen in search of more regular first-team football, where he has since blossomed in the Bundesliga to earn eight senior caps for France.
The winger has been a productive presence for Leverkusen and has been directly involved in 37 league goals in 55 appearances since the start of last season.
Arsenal remain interested in Diaby despite the addition of Leandro Trossard during the January transfer window, but interest from the Gunners is dependent on Leverkusen’s valuation and the proposals submitted from rival sides.
